The small model was scanned from 3 sides on a huge 5-axis CNC machine

Here part of the scan displayed in CARSO CAD/CAM

The scan was scaled up to size. Here first cut with a big saw blade

Next tool is the Core-drill

The CNC machine complete the Altar to this stage

Then skilled stone masons take over and finish by hand
