Barry X Ball

The subject is Dottore Giuseppe Panza di Biumo of Varese, Milano and Lugano - one of the worlds preeminent collectors of contemporary art. He was life-cast, and after extensive hand refinement, the resultant plaster model was scanned. The carved heads are realized in Macedonian marble. They are depicted "fresh off the machine", before hand clean-up.
